In 2022, I began exploring the lineage of the tiger in mythology and resistance. I kept returning to the Hindu goddess Durga, who rides a tiger into battle. She is the force that confronts those who prey on the vulnerable. Her tiger isn’t decoration—it is the embodiment of her unstoppable will.
